On February 14, Mothers Out Front members from Jamaica Plain and other community teams were among the 150 people participating in Mass Power Forward's Valentine's Day Action at the State House. We stood alongside representatives from community development organizations, clean energy businesses, faith groups, neighborhood health and safety advocates, and Massachusetts families fighting for our future. We asked our legislators to do everything they can to protect our kids from climate change by adopting more clean energy. One mom came all the way to the State House from the North Shore with her two kids in a stroller. Keeping two toddlers happy while finding your way around the State House? That's how much we want clean energy!
Along with other participants, Wylie and Emily (pictured below) delivered Valentine’s day cards to Governor Baker. We asked him to “Break up with Gas Pipelines.”
