On Saturday, February 17th in Poughkeepsie Mothers Out Front was hosted by the Dutchess County Progressive Action Alliance (DCPAA) and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Poughkeepsie for a full day workshop on building grassroots power. In the morning session we had an overview of principles of organizing and focused on the basics of organizing practicing one-to-one conversations building our skills in relationship building and making an ask. After lunch, we did a session on storytelling.
