Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression Part 1: Will give a critical analysis about how racism and oppression appears in nonprofits, the Environmental movement and in organizations. This is not training to convince people that racism exists; it is education to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities in people to take leadership roles individually and together in challenging racism and other inequities. Overview of systems of oppressions are (internal, interpersonal, systematic and institution and basic understanding of race, racism and how it shows up in the Environmental and Climate Justice movement .) There will be homework. There will be two follow up sessions on June 4th and June 5th.
