Community Resistance and Resilience Training

Understanding impacted communities can overcome injustices through engaging in community projects that foster resiliency’s and resistance.

Presenter: Marcus Franklin, Emeritus Program Specialist of the NAACP Environmental and Climate Justice Program where he focuses on energy justice and community climate resilience initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Science in the Science of Natural and Environmental Systems and a Master of Public Administration from Cornell University, where he studied ecosystem biology, environmental policy, and non-profit management. Marcus is also an Advisory Board Member of the  non-profit Climate Changers based out of Trumansburg, NY.
