The Future of Heat Bill Webinar
The Future of Heat Legislation legislation is a first in the nation bill that would incentivize gas utility companies to transition away from fossil fuel to clean heating technology. This bill reduces the physical, financial and climate risks of our current system in a way that is equitable, protects ratepayers, and provides for worker re-training.
The Commonwealth is planning to spend billions to shore up leaky gas infrastructure and keep us on gas. This bill proposes that money be redirected into clean heating infrastructure that will reduce emissions, improve air quality, and make our homes safer and more comfortable.
Join us on Tuesday, October 19 to learn more about this exciting bill and what you can do to support it.
