🌸 Join Mothers Out Front for a delightful day of exploration and adventure at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden’s Learn and Play Together event in the enchanting Discovery Garden! 🌱🌳🌿 This special program, designed for families, offers an immersive experience where nature and education come together in perfect harmony. 🌿Throughout the garden’s picturesque meadow, woodland, and marsh habitats, families will discover hands-on stations that encourage interactive learning.🔬🕵️♀️ Volunteer Discovery Docents will guide you along the way!
📚 We will also be able to immerse ourselves in a captivating story with the self-guided Story Walk! Following the arrows in the Discovery Garden to read “To Change a Planet,” a picture-book about climate change by Christina Soontornvat and Rahele Jomepour Bell. 🌍📖 We’ll be able to discover how even one person—or one molecule of carbon dioxide—can make a difference, and learn how families can keep the conversation going.
🌈 Celebrating Disability Pride Month, this inclusive program offers ASL interpretation, a quiet zone, and sensory backpacks for all abilities. 🤟🤫🎒 Come with your whole family, regardless of age and enjoy. Everyone is welcome to learn and play together!👨👩👧👦
