Waltham, MA: Motherload: The Cargo Bike Revolution – Film and Discussion

Date: May 7, 2023
Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm ET
Location: Waltham Public Library Lecture Hall, 735 Main St., Waltham , Massachusetts, 02451

Waltham Mothers Out Front, in partnership with Critical Mass Waltham and Waltham DSA, will be screening the film “Motherload” and hosting a discussion about the film. [RSVP]

“Motherload” is a film about the cargo bike revolution sweeping the nation. This movement is being lead by mothers who are seeking connection, meaning, and a greener future for their families.

We will hold a discussion about the film after the screening. We will talk about what it would take to bring this revolution to Waltham and discuss what it would take to make cargo bikes a viable alternative to cars in the city.

The movie features brief scenes of a family watching a zombie movie and brief explicit language from a driver directed at a cyclist but is otherwise family friendly.

The screening will be in the Lecture Hall. Please wear a mask for our immunocompromised neighbors, thank you!
