Mothers Out Front Northern Westchester and Westchester Rivertowns teams were thrilled to participate in an electric school bus demo event on March 7th in Bedford, NY.State senators, students, and community members had an opportunity to ride an electric school bus and hear from legislators and experts. Mothers Out Front volunteer, Cristina Arnold, spoke passionately about the need to transition to electric school buses to help preserve a livable climate for future generations.
As Cristina stated, “Working together we can make the necessary transition to Electric School Buses. Our kids are counting on us.” We urge the legislators to follow through on their commitment to funding the transition to electric school buses for the combined long-term savings, health benefits and climate impact.
