Brighton High School student Liza Sommers, member of the Rochester Youth Climate Leaders, urges the Brighton Town Board to adopt Community Choice Aggregation legislation. The CCA campaign in the Rochester area has been organized and led by our allies, the Rochester People's Climate Coalition and supported by local Mothers Out Front Community Teams. RPCC has secured CCA wins in the Village of Lima and the City of Rochester, and has garnered support for CCA from elected officials in the Village of Brockport, Towns of Scottsville and Geneva. Brighton Town Board members expressed support for CCA legislation. A second CCA public hearing in Brighton will be held September 13th.
