Mothers Out Front, a non-profit organizing in a few key states and planning to become national wants to land and grow roots in Pennsylvania. Most of the Mothers Out Front members are not ‘activists’ in the traditional sense of the word but women and mothers who want to find their own-and local-ways to take collective climate action.
We're having our first house party in Pennsylvania and will screen one of the host's short documentaries. You are kindly invited. Our house is small, so attendance is limited to 20. If more of you want to attend, we could organize another house party in the weeks/months to come.
Mothers Out Front brings mothers together in warm, informal house parties held in private homes and public meeting spaces, where we learn about the science and the urgency of the climate crisis, share personal stories, and talk about the power of mothers, working together, to bring about social change.
"Passive hope is about waiting for external agencies to bring about what we desire. Active hope is about becoming active participants in bringing about what we hope for."
