Senior Gas Campaign Organizer
What are the strengths that you bring to movement building?
Kalin started building movements before she knew what they were. In 2nd grade, her school wanted to change their uniforms and Kalin vehemently opposed this change in shirt color and organized her classmates to sign a petition and meet with the principal. Though she did not win this battle Kalin has always recognized the value of bringing people together to achieve a common goal. Kalin brings a unique blend of political and environmental movement-building, experience along with an understanding of the power of our collective voice and intentional communications.
Where’s your favorite place to be?

What is the moment that you decided to work towards climate justice?
Climate has been at the intersection of so many fights that it’s hard to pinpoint the exact moment we decide to take on climate justice as our cause. Kalin has seen through her work on political campaigns and in communities throughout New England, the harmful effects corporations can have, particularly those involved in oil and gas. As more and more families suffer the health, financial, and emotional impacts of climate Mothers are uniquely positioned to lead the fight for justice.
