Becca Glenn
Massachusetts Interim State Manager
Becca Glenn is a native of Hershey, Pennsylvania, who came to Massachusetts for college and fell in love with it. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Boston College and a master’s degree in women’s studies from Loyola University Chicago. Becca started her career as a social service provider, interning at a women’s resource center and working as a domestic violence counselor, but found her place in the community organizing and advocacy work she was doing as a volunteer. She got her first professional organizing job with Sierra Club and has never looked back. In the nearly two decades since, she has fought for social justice and environmental protection with groups like Oceana and the American Civil Liberties Union, as well as consulting on numerous federal, state, and local electoral campaigns. In 2015, Becca was appointed to the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women, where she served for four years, including two as chair of the Legislative and Public Policy Committee. Before coming to Mothers Out Front, she was the Recruitment and Advocacy Manager for Mass Alliance, a coalition of 29 progressive groups doing political work in Massachusetts.
