Bimina comes to Mothers out front with a background in storytelling. In the past six years, Bimina has produced documentary films, original stories and short videos on the immigrant population in New York covering education, immigration, culture and social issues. She graduated from Columbia Graduate school for journalism in May 2017 with focus on video and audio production. She is inspired by Mothers Out front’s mission to empower individuals and their community to educate and take actions against climate change. Bimina grew up in Kathmandu, Nepal and moved to the United States in 2006 as a teenager to pursue higher education. She currently lives in New York City with her husband and loves to travel, cook and watch international crime thrillers, in her free time.
