Bria Williams

Bria is a dedicated Program Strategist and Instructional Leader with five years of experience in stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and curriculum design. She received her BS in Urban Education from Howard University. Prior to joining Mothers Out Front, Bria served at two other nonprofit organizations, Cultivate Charlottesville and EMERGE Fellowship, respectively. In her role as Program Director at Cultivate Charlottesville, she advocated for racial equity across regional food systems and collaborated with local government to implement a community-based policy initiative. As Senior Programs Coordinator with EMERGE, Bria worked alongside the Senior Leadership Team to support the development and execution of program strategy. Bria also has extensive experience in the education sector, having worked with Charlottesville City Schools for over two years as a classroom teacher and professional development facilitator prior to entering the nonprofit realm.
