Electrify Brookline: How-To Guides

MASSACHUSETTS  >  BROOKLINE CHAPTER  >  ELECTRIFY BROOKLINE HOW-TO GUIDES

Electrify Brookline, a community campaign launched by the Town of Brookline, the Town’s Zero Emissions Advisory Board, Mothers Out Front-Brookline, and Climate Action Brookline, has produced a series of How-To guides to provide help to our neighbors in electrifying their homes and transportation, which are major contributors to carbon emissions. The guides have easily understandable information about tax credits, rebates and loans, statewide technical resources, and local know-how, and include helpful examples from neighbors who have begun the home electrification process.

Massachusetts has a climate goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050, and Brookline Town Meeting resolved to reach that goal locally by 2040. Electrify Brookline is a town-wide, neighborhood-based campaign to help Brookline residents transition our buildings and our vehicles from burning fossil fuels to clean, renewable electric alternatives. This series of How-To Guides will help Brookline renters, condo-owners, landlords and homeowners plan out the steps.

Don’t leave money on the table!  Check out our chart of Financial Incentives: Rebates & Tax Credits.
