Position Status: Contract position, part-time, short-term (estimated 6-10 hours per week, October 17 - December 9th)
Position Location: Virtual Preference given to candidates located in one of the states in which we currently are organizing: MA, NY, VA
Position Summary: The Year End Appeal Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing the logistics of our annual fundraising appeal that is scheduled to be mailed at the end of November. This person will work in close collaboration with our Communications Manager and our Individual Giving Organizer and will provide direction and oversight to our Administrative Assistant. Qualified candidates will have strong project management experience, excellent attention to details, and the ability to work well with staff and volunteers.
Work with the Fundraising Team to develop an overall plan for the logistics of the Year End Appeal campaign with timelines and responsibilities. This plan includes a direct mail component, email and social media.
Develop and implement a plan for all aspects of the physical letter mailing including the clean-up of our address lists, the printing of the letters, and assembling of envelopes, etc. Work with the Administrative Assistant to complete these tasks.
Work with our Individual Giving Organizer and volunteer leaders to enlist local volunteer teams in MA, NY, VA, and CA to write personal notes and send letters, providing them with everything they need to complete the project on time.
