Our powerful grassroots movement of mothers, grandmothers, and caregivers is working to ensure a swift, complete, and just transition away from fossil fuels and toward electric vehicles and renewable energy. Together we are creating a healthy climate and a livable future for all our children.
The Fairfax County team is working on an electric school bus campaign—#CleanBuses4Kids. We began by working to transition Fairfax County Public Schools’ fleet of 1,625 buses from diesel to all-electric by 2030. But now, with the Clean School Bus Grant Fund Bill, we are working to transition all 17,000 of Virginia’s school buses to electric in that 10-year timeframe.
