The NY HEAT Act not only facilitates the state’s transition away from natural gas to cleaner and greener heating solutions, but it also invests in the future of our kids by ensuring cleaner air in our homes, schools and parks. The NY HEAT Act also produces financial benefits for the families of New York by ensuring they pay no more than 6% of their household income on energy bills and not burdening the poorest New Yorkers with funding new gas pipelines.
