The men killed were fathers, sons, husbands, brothers, friends and neighbors—and essential union workers providing vital public transit services. As mothers who are working to create a just and livable future where all children can prosper, we are appalled that our society has still not prioritized that future by enacting common sense gun safety legislation to keep our kids and our family members safe.
