She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Boston College and a master’s degree in women’s studies from Loyola University Chicago. Becca started her career as a social service provider, interning at a women’s resource center and working as a domestic violence counselor, but found her place in the community organizing and advocacy work she was doing as a volunteer. She got her first professional organizing job with Sierra Club and has never looked back.
