For every mother who has worried about the quality of water coming from her faucet or the plume of exhaust from her child’s school bus, we applaud this bipartisan investment in protecting children’s health. However, we have only a very small window of opportunity to achieve the type of bold, innovative system changes necessary to truly combat the looming climate crisis.
We implore all of Congress to set aside their differences and pass a transformative, comprehensive bill that is informed by the people to achieve these ambitious goals. Time is running out, and if we fail to act, this will only hurt the future of our kids, especially the most vulnerable kids
