With an administration that is championing comprehensive legislation that focuses on a just transition from fossil fuels and environmental justice, we have an opportunity to address critical intersectional issues and those at the core of any real attempt to create a future livable climate for all children– environmental and racial justice. Creating that healthy future for our kids doesn’t just mean investing in green technology and good paying jobs in the clean energy sector, we need to focus on policy that invests in the BIPOC communities that have been most affected by fossil fuel emissions and climate change.
This is the start of our national campaign to push for intersectional climate policy at every level. Please let us know if you would like to stay involved with this national campaign or other events. Sign up to receive campaign updates.
