We are mothers, grandmothers, and allies working in Lexington to ensure a livable climate for all children. Together with our sister chapters across the country, we are building a powerful grassroots movement to ensure a swift, complete, and just transition away from fossil fuels and toward clean and renewable energy.
Can you spare 30 minutes to fight climate change? We host Climate Coffee Breaks every month from 12:00pm – 12:30pm. Take action on climate change from the comfort of your own home!
Climate Coffee Break is on hiatus for May. Please join us in person at Earth Day in May on Saturday, May 14 instead!
Join us for Earth Day in May, a celebration of all the ways in which Lexington residents are reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting biodiversity.
We are focused on helping Lexington begin the transition to clean, renewable energy. We are push for zoning incentives to encourage the use of non-fossil fuel heating in the new Hartwell Innovation District and we are working with our allies to help Lexington homeowners switch to clean, electric heat pumps.
Small changes in the way we live can add up to big impacts in terms of climate change. Energize Lexington is a one-stop online resource for Lexington residents to connect with green groups and events in town. It contains practical advice on everything from reducing household waste to switching to clean, electric heat.
