Our future is not negotiable. This summer, we have the opportunity to demonstrate the power the government has to improve people’s lives by passing a robust climate centered infrastructure package and a Civilian Climate Corps: a national jobs program that would employee over 1.5 million Americans in good paying union jobs to slow the climate crisis by rebuilding sustainable infrastructure.
Our friends at Sunrise are hosting the National Day of action on July 15th! Lots of local Sunrise groups are taking to the streets to force our government and our politicians to be bold and pass the climate policy the we need. Mothers Out Front is hosting the National Day of Action Phone Bank to demand our leaders pass a robust climate centered infrastructure package and a Civilian Climate Corps; a national jobs program that would employee over 1.5 million Americans in good paying union jobs to slow the climate crisis by rebuilding sustainable infrastructure. Together, we are asking Biden to meet the people who elected him. Hear our voices, talk with Varshini Prakash and other youth organizers to hear our demands on infrastructure and climate action.
