Planning Board member Chris Gittins will present on the new Specialized Energy Code and why Bedford should join the many MA cities and towns that are adopting it. This new building code goes beyond the stretch code and requires new construction to be wired for all-electric space heating and cooling, hot water heating, and appliances even if the new building also incorporates fossil fuel systems.
