Brookline, MA: Coffee & Collective Action
Join the Brookline Chapter on Thursdays for a quick climate action. At these drop-in events, you will learn about a climate-related topic and take action in just 30 minutes. No experience is required or necessary to participate!
Each week, the topic is different — from fossil fuel-free buildings, to composting, to gas leaks. Actions include sending emails, making phone calls, and posting on social media. Join us!
This week we have TWO topics.
1) Ania Camargo from the Boston chapter will be joining us to share information a decision before Boston City Council that has big implications for the climate. We’ll learn from Ania and support our friends in Boston by amplifying their work on social media.
2) The Brookline Chapter’s Zero Waste team is hosting an important event on Monday, September 20th! We will be inviting neighbors and friends to participate in From Costly Waste to Zero Waste where we will explore opportunities to transition to Zero Waste in our own lives, in our town, and in our state.
