Join us for a conversation with Michael Orr, Recycling Director for the City of Cambridge. Mike has worked for the City since 2015. He oversees the City’s Zero Waste Master Plan that has resulted in expanding programs to increase business recycling and composting, a citywide curbside compost program, and mattress and textiles diversion programs.
Since 2008, the City has reduced trash by 32%, with a goal of reducing it 50% by 2030. Bring an item you are not sure how to recycle for a fun challenge!
